The Great Indian Heritage Children's Fest 2026
Inspiring A Generation Of Excellence
The Great Indian Heritage Children's Fest, an initiative of ISKCON Kudappanakunnu, Thiruvananthapuram, is dedicated to recognising and nurturing the creativity, character, and cultural consciousness of school students. Rooted in India's timeless heritage, the festival provides a vibrant platform where children can discover their talents, express themselves through art and culture, and grow with confidence and purpose.
Through competitions in painting, music, dance, drama, and other creative disciplines, the festival encourages young minds to appreciate the richness of Indian traditions while developing values such as integrity, discipline, compassion, and respect. More than a competition, it is a celebration of learning, creativity, and character.
Our vision is to inspire every child to embrace excellence not only in talent but also in values empowering them to become responsible citizens who take pride in India's glorious cultural heritage and contribute positively to society.
General Guidelines

Only one team may register under an institution's name for each group event. Additional teams from the same institution must register under a separate team name. This rule does not apply to the Painting and Fancy Dress competitions.
- Participation is open only to registered contestants.
- Participants must report at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
- Participants should carry their registration confirmation and participant badge throughout the event.
- Late arrivals may not be accommodated and may result in disqualification.
- The decision of the organizing committee shall be final and binding in all matters.
- Participants, parents, and teachers are requested to cooperate with volunteers and organizers for the smooth conduct of the programme.
- Participants are expected to maintain discipline and decorum throughout the event.
- Any form of misconduct, disrespect, or use of offensive language may result in immediate disqualification.
- Organizers reserve the right to modify the schedule or rules if circumstances require.
- Participants are requested to keep the venue clean, no use of plastic and use waste bins responsibly as part of ‘GO GREEN’ initiative.
- The organizers shall not be responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables.
- Photography and videography will be carried out by the organizers for documentation and promotional purposes.
- Photography and videography causing obstruction to the audience's view / privacy or disruption of the competitions are strictly prohibited.
- Any participant violating the rules and regulations may be disqualified.
- The use of fire, explosives, hazardous materials, sharp weapons, smoke effects, or any unsafe objects is strictly prohibited in all events.
- Participants should arrange their costumes, accessories, and props unless otherwise specified.
- Background music, wherever applicable, should be submitted in MP3 format and participants are advised to carry a backup copy on a pen drive.
- First aid assistance will be available at the venue.
- All participants must complete their registration before the specified deadline. No spot registrations will be permitted.
- The winners will be announced on the prize distribution ceremony on 04th September 2026 at Nishagandhi Auditorium, Kanakakunnu, Trivandrum, starting 5.00 PM.
